Testimonials
Marli Swanepoel (RSA -2023)
Official BIO:
Pinky is driven by her commitment to championing and empowering communities towards authentic and healthy engagements with their natural environment and how it affects their health and wellness. She believes that every human being has a right to access to their basic human needs, particularly in light of quality drinking water and sustainable waste management.
As a former Miss Earth South Africa ambassador (Water Element, 2018/19), she was exposed to the multifaceted ways in which natural resources could be easily turned into an avenue of disenfranchisement, which she experienced firsthand as she traveled across the country during her term in office.
She has since dedicated her entire profession to decentralizing the exclusivity of access to quality drinking water and organic waste management. She has recently completed her Master of Applied Sciences research studies in Environmental Management (majoring in Water Chemistry), and it was through this endeavor that her company, Metsi a Teng (Pty) Ltd was
born.
She is also the host of Gloriously Ordinary, a weekly show on Impact Radio between 14h00-16h00.
